DevOps Engineer

consumers and businesses.

Job Scope:
Working with customers and internal stakeholders to design and build cloud-native systems and solutions.
Ensure the secure and reliable operation of all Groundspeed infrastructure across multiple environments.
Work with engineering teams to deploy new systems and services and help support them in production.
Provide visibility into operational performance and status through monitoring and incident management tools.
Own and improve upon our CI/CD pipeline and other developer tools.
Write reliable, scalable, maintainable software primarily in Python.
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship in a variety of areas to other team members.

Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience contributing significantly to the development of cloud-native software solutions and web applications.
Real-world experience creating containerized build and deployment environments.
Background in multiple testing methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, load testing, etc.
Knowledge of agile software development and continuous integration / deployment principles and solutions (such as Jenkins).
Advanced knowledge of major cloud computing platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Experience with multi-cloud management and automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS in particular a plus) and Kubernetes ecosystems such as Helm, Istio, etc.
Operations experience monitoring large-scale, multi-AZ cloud deployments.
Interest in security and compliance is a plus.
