Head of Business Development

Bowsy recently won Tech Startup 2020 at the Irish National Startup Awards and we are looking for a Head of Business Development to help us grow.

After launching in Ireland in 2020, we are already growing in the UK and have plans to launch in the US market in 2022 with the support of Enterprise Ireland and the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development.

Bowsy is looking for an experienced business development manager with sales experience, preferably in business to business. A background in the education or the recruitment industry would also be advantegeous.

The role will also involve liasing with universities in Ireland and the UK to support the growth and registration of students on the Bowsy platform.

Most importantly, we are looking for an ambitious self starter, a good communicator and a team player who is excited about the growth potential of working in an innovative startup.

The position is remote and salary is negotiable, depending on the candidate, and also comes with significant equity in the company.

About us:

Bowsy is creating a new marketplace that connects employers and university students through remote and study related project work. We are currently cooperating with the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, TCDSU and University College Cork.

We are based in the Guinness Enterprise Center and Bowsy is a client of the High Potential Startup Unit in Enterprise Ireland and also Dublin BIC.

Bowsy was also recently named as Top Tech Startup 2020 at the Irish National Startup Awards as well as been listed as one of the top 30 EU Startups by EU-Startups.com, sponsored by Morgan Stanley.
