About the Role**
Staff Accountant at Pareto Properties will work closely with our CEO managing all accounting and day to day operations.

Responsibilities

• Annual Tax preparation
• Work with outside accounting firm as needed on more complex tax preparation like Qualified Opportunity Zone filings
• Keep monthly books and records
• Monthly reconciliation of expenses, revenue, receipts, bills, prepayments and accounts receivable in quickbooks
• Managing contractors, vendors, property managers,
• Property tax filings, managing utilities,
• Negotiating and securing property insurance
• Assist with 1099 completion for Year End if needed
• Participate in the monthly cash flow analysis
• Work with Outside Accounting firm in standardizing practices and procedure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Quickbooks
At least 3+ years of experience in Accounting
Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask individually and in group situations
Organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects and duties
Demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines
Extreme Eye for detail and a high regard for quality
Ability to apply strong problem solving techniques
