The Role

INTRODUCTION

Pand.ai Pte. Ltd. is a premier AI chatbot developer for financial institutions in Southeast Asia. It currently serves a number of Fortune 500 companies such as UBS, Schroders, Allianz and Tokio Marine across Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
Pand.ai was started in July 2016 by a MIT-trained Digital Head from Standard Chartered and an award-winning adjunct lecturer in Machine Learning from NUS (National University of Singapore), Pand.ai is probably the only one-stop shop that help you create award-winning AI chatbots for financial services – from conceptualizing, designing, data cleaning, developing, testing and even running the live bot post-production.
We have recently setup a subsidiary in Malaysia, Athena AI Sdn Bhd, and are looking for a sales development representative (SDR) to be part of the local founding team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are passionate, driven, and interested in being part of the founding team in an AI startup where you will have the opportunity to get involved in discussions about our product roadmap, as well as help shape and drive opportunities for the company, this role will be for you.
Your main role as an SDR will be to generate and nurture quality leads, as well as market our products (chatbots) to the relevant media in Malaysia.
As an experienced SDR, we understand you might have already developed your own preferred working style that has been working for you. We don't want you to change your winning formula, and are ready to offer you the support that you need to do your best work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a result-driven organization, so we do not have any hard requirement. However, since we are a B2B business selling into Fortune 500 enterprises, we expect you:
• To be resilient in nurturing and following-up leads
• To have strong presentation and oratory skills
• To establish good business relationship and communicate Pand.ai’s value proposition to prospective clients
• To gain good media coverage for our products (chatbots)
• To create marketing documents (white paper, EDM etc.)
• To be able to work with engineers to develop custom solutions for clients
• To have an understanding of Chatbot and NLP (we will provide you with the necessary trainings)

What will give you an edge:
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in writing in Bahasa Malaysia
• Experienced in using CRM and sales engagement applications
• Have prior working experiences in financial services, i.e. banking, insurance or asset management

This is a demanding role that emphasises consultative selling, and requires you to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and work ethics. However, it is also a rewarding role — our incentive program is amongst one of the most generous in the market and we are still constantly growing.
Interested Candidate to send their resume to [email protected] with the subject title “Sales Development Representative”.
