Embedded Systems Engineer

As an embedded engineer, you will be writing cutting edge embedded firmware for BatteryPool's flagship smart battery swapping station.

Specifically, you will:

• Design and develop clean, well-documented and version controlled firmware for BatteryPool's smart swapping station
• Collaborate with the product and software teams to develop full integration with our software platforms
• Work closely with hardware vendors/contract manufacturers to deploy firmware on BatteryPool's hardware products
• Work towards industry mandated certifications for our swapping station such as BIS

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years experience as an embedded systems/firmware engineer having worked on RTOS + wifi/bluetooth based systems.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Equivalent
• Familiarity with various architectures of Microcontrollers (especially STM) and communication protocols (I2C, CAN, RS-232, RS-485 etc.)
• Expertise in C, C++
• Familiar with at least one high level language, specially for scripting (preferably Python)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

BONUS:

• Experience in the clean energy/electric mobility space.
