Robotics Electronics Engineer

Qualification:
Bachelors in Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities:
1) Work with the Electronics Engineers to design and develop various electronic circuits.
2) Work with the Electronics Engineers to prototype various electronic circuits.
3) Write software/ programm for various robotics systems such as path planning, computer vision, etc.
4) Work on ROS for development of various robotic systems
5) Work on ROS Gazebo for simulation of various robotic systems
6) Work with the Electronics Engineers to select various components for intended electronic circuits.
7) Work with the Electronics Engineers to design PCBs.
8) Work with the Electronics Engineers to optimise developed electronic circuits.
9) Learn new concepts and skills if required by the project.
10) Work with the Electronics Engineers to test the electronics hardware and systems.
11) Work on sensor and actuator interfacing with microcontrollers & microprocessors

Technical Skills:
1) Clear understanding of the basic principles of Electronics and electrical engineering
2) Proteus, KiCAD, Autodesk Eagle for design and simulation of PCBs & electronics circuits
3) ROS, Gazebo, Rviz, etc.
4) Soldering using soldering iron, SMD soldering
5) Ability to quickly learn new technologies along with troubleshooting build and deployment issues.

Soft Skills:
1) Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical matters through written and oral medium.
2) Ability to work in multidisciplinary team comprising of other electronics engineers, mechanical engineers and computer science engineers.
3) Readiness to travel for any client meetings, vendor meetings or any other official travel.
4) Understand client problem and forming a clear problem statement.
5) Prepared to learn new relevant skills
6) Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
7) Ability to manage time effectively, work under deadlines, to multitask, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments.
