Job Overview

Do you want to work in a fast growing startup environment with a rockstar team focusing on a hybrid cloud technology. You will work directly with existing IMT customers, new partners and prospects through pre-sales efforts demoing and acting as the technical guru around hybrid cloud storage deployments. From Selling to installing you will be able to get hands on experience by helping them install and deploy these environments.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver the IMT SoDA message and vision including technical architecture presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers and partners
• Conduct remote calls and face-to-face meetings to discuss prospective business and technical fit with the SoDA software product.
• Establish relationships as a trusted technical adviser with customers, prospective customers, partners, and potential partners
• Provide technical guidance and support of sales efforts to drive team-based selling with aligned account executives
• Guide prospective customers through installation of proof of concept solutions, working with customers and the account executive to ensure that the customer purchases the software following the POC
• Support pre & post sales issues
• Coordinate and support installations with customers, prospects and partners
• Work with aligned SoDA sales team to drive partner onboarding and enablement in the region to develop strong and deep strategic relationships with Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Distributors, Managed Services Providers (MSPs), and other partners and channel community members
• Interact with development and engineering teams to ensure the customer requirements guide is completed and communicate results to the Product Management team
• Provide feedback to Development around customer requirements and long-term Cloud data management goals
• Ability to work with customer on public cloud strategies including AWS, Azure, and GCP and provide guidance for how to best manage their data.

Requirements:
• Work experience in SE / Solutions Architect role at VAR, technology reseller, systems integrator, Software / Service focused MSP, or similar technology focused manufacturer
• Experience with diverse verticals and industries
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as Pre-Sales Engineering or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain technical solutions and concepts to non-technical people
• Good practical understanding of Datacenter and Cloud architecture
• Experience with VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.
• Understanding of storage concepts, architecture, and storage platforms (e.g. SAN/NAS/DAS)
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP Storage platforms including configuration
• BA/BS, preferably in a Computer related field

 Highly Preferred Skills:
• Experience in uses cases around Media & Entertainment, Healthcare & Life Sciences, AI/ML, Backup & Data Protection
• Knowledge of or familiarity of real-life IT environments
• Experience in server, storage, and network administration
• Strong Linux administration skills including:
• Familiarity with the installation and configuration of Linux
• Operating systems and applications
• TCP/IP networking on Linux systems
• Ability to setup and test customer-like computing environments for demo/troubleshooting
