Head Supply Chain Management

This position will lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to,
Planning (Supply & Demand), Operations (Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory management) and
Sourcing & Delivery (Customer Service). This position will provide leadership and direction on a cross
functional basis.

Main purpose of Job:
12 to 15 years

• To manage the end to end supply chain, that includes Planning (demand & supply), Operations, Sourcing & Customer service.
• Guide the sustainable change, performance improvement and development of internal operations, Supply Chain, warehouse & customer service teams to own the S&OP process. - Daily execution of best in class customer service levels and product availability, high quality on time in full delivery and optimal management of human and financial resources. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Own & Drive S&OP process involving all functional leads
• Responsible from ideation to execution of Supply Chain Strategy
• Bring in system capability (including warehouse automation, auto solutions to Customer Service etc.)
• Lead tactical response to supply chain problems impacting service performance and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for demand and supply forecasting, inventory planning and capacity management to meet the needs of the Smytten customer base.
• Daily execution of best in class customer service levels and product availability, high quality on time in full delivery and optimal management of human and financial resources.
• Direct the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product.
• Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure Smytten is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
• Evaluate past performance data to forecast needs and develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations.
• Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
• Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new ERP systems and optimize its use. - Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.
• Establishes annual goals and objectives in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience as a senior manager, or similar relevant position required.
● Should have been responsible for S&OP process managed Customer Service and managed Warehouse
Operations in a startup / medium size organization.
