The Role

Overview:
Potato TV is looking for a digital content creator intern to help grow brand awareness for our social streaming product. The ideal applicant will have a passion for social media, streaming, and connecting people around TV & movies they love. We are looking for people who want to work on a fun product & who want to make an immediate impact. Successful interns will quickly understand our product, our user segments, and be able to build unique digital content that resonates with them..

Opportunities:
Create content & scheduling posts on numerous clients' social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Produce engaging, creative visual social content for the brand and adapt our existing brand voice to the social environment.
Actively build our social media communities & driving organic traffic through interaction and engagement. (Like, comment, retweet, shares, etc.)
Draft digital briefs and review with content creators for asset development
Source and produce engaging content to ensure social media channels are up to date, relevant, & interesting.
Conduct competitive research to stay informed on changes in the market landscape (messaging, social, streaming, & video) that could impact the overall success of marketing campaigns & our brand.
Co-create a social content calendar to ensure a strong content pipeline at all times that improves engagement with our brand & user segments.

About you:
Experience in graphic design; typography, layout, composition
Have the ability to clearly execute creative direction, bring new ideas to the team, and thrive in a highly collaborative environment
Must have an excellent eye for design and photography
Must have a strong understanding of the social media space, the social communities, conversations, and trends
Must be organized but also nimble and flexible to adjust to real-time demand
Proficient in Adobe Cloud (Photoshop, illustrator, premiere pro, etc…), Final cut pro X, or similar tools & techniques needed for designing social creatives
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and the deadline-oriented environment of social media marketing
Must present a strong presence on relevant social media platforms with a portfolio of design to showcase

Time: Part-time/Full-time flexibility
Duration: 10-12 weeks
