Panther Protocol is building an end-to-end privacy protocol for digital assets (zAssets), which can be deployed in a compliant way on any public blockchain. We have ambitious plans to provide financial privacy and give economic freedom to people and institutions.

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Front-end Developer to join our team of experienced developers. You must have experience developing complex web applications - ideally dApps in the web3 space. Your code will be clear, well-formatted, and commented, and you will provide accompanying documentation. You should have a passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, and a drive to join a solution-oriented team.

Responsibilities

• You will be taking a lead role in a highly collaborative team developing a sophisticated privacy-focused dApp, within an agile environment using modern web/application tools, UX and workflows.
• Developing semantic, standards-compliant components and code
• Providing fully capable software development and configuration in your area of expertise

Requirements

• Clear, well-formatted, easy to maintain, code with accompanying tests and documentation.
• A track record in problem resolution, selection of technical solutions and applications
• A proven track record of delivering front-end applications
• Familiarity with modern engineering best practices like TDD, BDD and Automated Testing
• A proven track record in iterative and incremental development

• Samples of your code are made available for review (e.g. via a GitHub profile or otherwise) and you are able to clearly explain the code and the reasoning behind it.

• Strong working knowledge and application of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to level AA compliance

• Expert experience in front end development and general software engineering

• A good understanding of the blockchain, DeFi, and cryptocurrency spaces

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A proactive, self-driven approach and entrepreneurial, problem-solving mindset

• Ability and motivation to learn new things quickly

• Full-time availability with flexible working hours within predominantly American / European time zones

• Willingness to be a publicly visible member of the team

• English: upper-intermediate+

• Familiar with Agile processes
