Software Development Engineer in Test Regular or Senior (UDS/Audience Project)

OpenX is looking for talented and highly motivated Test Engineer to accelerate the delivery and to improve the quality of OpenX Digital Advertising Platform. You will have a chance to work in all aspects of agile application development, including our highly efficient and available serving platform that serves billions of requests per day. You’ll own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills. **Key Responsibilities**

- Involved in supporting all automation framework users through continuous improvement and maintenance

- Be exposed to a broader set of problems, which allows for fast career growth and proximity to abundant technical problems


**Required Qualifications**

- At least 2-3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Rock solid Computer Science foundation
- A deep understanding of web applications and RESTful APIs will be essential and automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, and so on
- Proficiency in Python, or a similar OO language and ability to improve, debug, modify and maintain an automation framework codebase
- Experience using tools such as GoCD or Jenkins that build Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issues
- Experience operating in an agile environment
- Strong quality and automation mind-set


**Desired Characteristics**

- Passion for software test development and proven ability to test enterprise distributed systems
- Experience with GoLang and/or Java applications
- A background in utilizing cloud computing services such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with big data pipelines and database systems
- Familiarity with advertising technologies and the advertising ecosystem
