Front-End Designer (Consultant)

Our goal at Engora is to eliminate the rote work in engineering design. To that end, we’ve built an AI/ML powered search engine that can intelligently extract and normalize component data from across vendors. As a frontend designer, you will be leading the process of increasing the usability of our search UI and adding additional features, with a particular focus on search UI usability. Some responsibilities include:

Evaluate the UI and propose changes
This process will likely include a mix of behavior monitoring (such as A/B testing) and user interviews/studies.
Work with the data and backend teams to scope improvements
If a new feature would require new capabilities on the backend services or data processing, work with other team members to scope those changes.
Implement new UI features
In addition to proposing UI improvements or new UI features
We anticipate many of these features will be related to data analysis and visualization; adding new visualization methods, adding support for additional analyses, etc.

There may be opportunities to extend the contract.
