Software Engineer (Backend) (ML/Data)

We are looking for engineers who will take an active role in establishing data infrastructure, flexible clustering, partner integrations, resilient task queues, scalable APIs, et al. At DeepBrainz AI we are looking for engineers who are excited about our mission, building something completely new, have a passion for development, and take ownership of what’s built from start to finish. A successful candidate will have ingenuity, creativity, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Technology Stack:
Python 3.7+ {Sanic, asyncio, Jinja2, Fabric3}, PostgresQL, Redis, Git

Responsibilities:

• Design and create services and system architecture
• Work with the product, design teams and business partners to understand end-user requirements and conceptualize new ideas
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
• Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems
• Collaborate effectively with peer application designers and Architecture team to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas

The ideal candidate:

• Loves Python or knows they can learn any language in weeks
• Designed and built a complex software solution
• Has a “See something, do something” mentality
• Is not satisfied with a problem that “just goes away” and is motivated to dig deep
• Able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
