Description
Coil is developing the world's first financial health bracelet, aiming to replace the physical wallet, bought by banks in bulk, and given to their customers for free. The challenges we’re addressing are:

• Millennials want a deeper understanding of their spending.
• Millennial parents want more control over data around their children and a better way to manage children’s payments.
• There’s not a more convenient, portable, secure, contactless, and cashless payment option at the point of sale that works with POS systems for users and businesses than a wearable.
• Businesses cannot build apps that process payments in the closed Apple, Fitbit, and Garmin wearable ecosystems.
• Cash, debit, or credit cards are not completely contactless and can spread coronavirus.
• Current expensive solutions don’t work for everyone: the cheapest is Fitbit for $160, and Apple Watch is $400.
• No platform-agnostic instant payments solution for businesses.

You
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Coil, you'll be responsible for prototyping and developing the mechanical parts for Coil’s hardware products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Being able to prototype quickly.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
