Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the design, architecture, and testing of the communication and control circuitry for a new type of Electric Vehicle.

Requirements: You have 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer who has worked on electrical components from cradle-to-grave.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

• Lead the design, build and testing of control and communication circuitry
• Design and bench test PCBAs
• Manage reviews of circuit design
• Design and implement performance and integration testing
• Design control software for CPLDs/FPGAs
• Develop the control and interface circuitry for the EV
• Establish and create board requirements

Required

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience with electrical design, ideally with some background in electric power systems or automotive
• Significant professional experience with control circuitry, circuit simulation, electrical schematics and microprocessors
• Experience with CAN, WiFI, Bluetooth, I2C
• Proficiency with PCB layout tools
• Peripheral design experience

Ideal candidate

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with PCBA standards in the automotive industry
• Experience with electrical power systems
