The Role

OVERVIERVIEW

Bella & Bona is actively looking for an exceptional Chief Revenue Officer to join our top management team. In this role, you will lead the company's rocketing revenue growth and success as you coordinate marketing and sales and are responsible for achieving the revenue targets of one of the fastest-growing Food-Techs in Europe across our Munich, Frankfurt, and (from Summer 2020) Berlin offices.

Joining one of the most promising Food-Tech companies in Europe as one of their first 30 team members, this position offers significant potential for growth and learning in a short amount of time.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, resourceful and hard-working individual, with impressive managerial skills, and attitude to hustle for deals, commitment to achieve and overperform vs targets, excellent communication skills, and ability to constantly improve processes in a fast-growing team. You will be managing a team of 7, expected to grow to 20 people within the next 12 months, and 40+ within the next 30 months.


YOUR MISSION

• Work closely with the executive team and board of directors to develop growth strategies to achieve and overperform budget targets
• Build a robust and accurate revenue pipeline and forecasting
• Responsible for hitting revenue targets, coordinating the full funnel from marketing, lead generation and deal closing to ongoing relationship management
• Build, train, coordinate and empower the growing sales and marketing team
• Personally develop and close large deals with strategic accounts
• Work with technology to optimize and automate as many sales processes as possible


YOUR PROFILE

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) within Sales, Business or other relevant types of education. A Master is a strong Plus
• Strong experience in Sales and Marketing, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C fast-growing company
• Experience of revenue ownership with a successful track record of success and demonstrable business expansion and growth.
• Proven successful sales team building and management experience.
• Deep knowledge of cross-channel marketing, native advertising, programmatic, and the latest trends in digital advertising.
• Thorough understanding of a wide range of technology.
• Strong ability with data analytics.
• Understanding of how to establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives of key target clients and channel partners.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead change and take others with you.
• Ability to facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting processes, content, opinions.
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion and energy whilst maintaining a positive outlook.
• Experience in the start-up / scale-up world is a strong plus
• Fluency in English and German is a must.
