About the position:

Arcus is looking to hire a Client Growth Associate within their Business Development team to support our growth in the mexican market. The ideal candidate has the ability to establish relationships, think strategically and engage with new business partners in the region. This professional is able to effectively communicate and build relationships with one goal in mind: drive the business pipeline and increase revenue.

The key to this position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales leadership, marketing, industry professionals, engineering, product and business partners. As part of this team you will report directly to the Business Development Director and work closely with clients such as banks, retail and fintechs. This position will be based on Mexico City.

In this role you will:

Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making process, and overcome objections to closure to close sales in a timely manner
Support sales team members in developing their sales, marketing and pre-sales capabilities
Manage the sales pipeline in a way that ensures the team is on track to meet and exceed company OKRs
Source, manage, & close your own deals with little to no help from management
Provide insight into customer wants and needs to inform the product development roadmap
You will act as an account manager for every deal you close, ensuring a long term relationship and a great client service.

Who you are:

You have + 3 years of experience on sales or business development areas
Must demonstrate the ability to source and close deals on your own.
You are excited to work in a high growth startup
You are passionate about developing solutions to new clients
Negotiation and interpersonal relationship skills
Self starter and team player - highly important
You understand technological trends and have a general understanding about the payments and fintech landscape.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the startup industry
Fluent in English and Spanish
