Retail Account Manager

Summary: We are excited to announce our search for a Retail Account Manager to build our retailer strategies. This role will be responsible for successfully partnering with our key retailers to build brand passion and awareness while driving retail sales growth. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of building a growing brand; you should love the nitty-gritty of retail marketing and sales while having a big picture mindset. This is a new role within 54 Thrones; so, the ideal candidate will be excellent at building cross-functional relationships in a remote environment. This position is fully remote, but preference will be given to those that live in/around Houston.

Key Responsibilities

Successfully manage beauty retail partnerships day to day, fostering excellent working relationships with all members of merchant teams
Build and own retailer-specific marketing plans across both store and e-commerce, developing and executing on brand goals
Oversee channel assortments, develop plans and strategies to maximize productivity, support merchandising and planogram strategy
Build momentum in strong retail development and expansion strategy, including planning in partnership with the executive team, how best to partner, optimize key levers, and competitive tradeoffs
Responsible for driving innovation focused on optimizing current programs, and building/ testing new programs and opportunities
Lead sales reporting with Finance/Operations, bring an analytic mindset and a desire to dig into the numbers each week/campaign to gain a deeper understanding of the business and provide recommendations to management to drive the business
Partner with merchant team to ensure retail marketing strategy is aligned
Proactive liaison between 54 Thrones and retail partner Operations/Planning teams to ensure inventory shipments, in-stock are on track
Manage retailer P&L with Finance team and update forecasts and expenditures each month to track profitability
Space and location strategy and execution including merchandising, retail marketing, and assortment planning with analytics to support results and new programs
Channel specific retail activations including education and eventing initiatives
Create and foster strong cross-functional collaboration
Ability to travel as needed

Qualifications

4+ years of industry experience and sales experience in beauty within Sephora is a plus.
Equipped to drive strong revenue and profitability to fuel rapid growth
Proven success achieving sales goals while expanding market share
Strong sales analytics skills, ability to find insights and trends within the data and recommend strategies to grow the business
Has ideally worked in a high-growth business with exposure to disruptive retail selling
Creative problem-solver and strategic thinker with an ability to come up with out-of-the-box strategies
Impeccable project management, communication, and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
Passion for kindness, beauty, and skincare
