Engineer Level 4 (Senior Engineer)

• The Employee will work primarily in the Company’s lab at COVE in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and from time to time at other locations, on the technical development of the Company’s autonomous drones and other products and services.
• The Employee will confer with the Company CEO and other senior technical and project staff on technical, scientific, and technological decisions, planning, and roadmaps.
• The Employee will lead the engineering team, reporting to the Company CEO, on achieving the technological aims of the Company.
• The Employee will liaise with scientists, engineers, and researchers in the academic world, working to advance the Company's aims with and through them.
• The Employee will create designs, schemata, and drawings of both electrical and mechanical systems on the Company's autonomous systems and other products, and will direct engineering staff in support of this effort, and organize and maintain such documents in Company repositories.
• The Employee will write and maintain source code for the Company’s autonomous drones and other products and services, and organize and maintain all source code and other technical repositories on behalf of the Company.
• The Employee will conduct and participate in original research and development pertaining to the Company’s present and future products and services.
• The Employee will ensure that all software and firmware, as well as technical drawings and documentation, is written and maintained according to the Company’s style guidelines and that all repositories of code are well and securely maintained.
• The Employee will perform other tasks which the Company, in its sole discretion, may from time to time assign.
