Sr. Android Developer

Voodlee is an early stage startup with a small team, currently in the development phase of a disrupting Fintech product.

We are looking for an Android developer with an entrepreneurial mindset who will work directly with the founders to build the Android apps for our products. The focus will be on frontend and interactivity implementation within the apps.

MUST
· Have an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take full ownership and responsibility of the Android apps
· Have a design centric approach to app development, with great attention to the tiny details that make up the user experience
· Be a problem solver who doesn’t give up until a good solution is implemented
· Be passionate about code quality, cleanliness and maintainability
· Have impeccable communication skills in English

SHOULD
· Have built and delivered at least 3 native Android apps from start to finish using Kotlin
· Be able to make changes rapidly and build functionality quickly while maintaining the highest levels of excellence in product quality
· Have expertise in managing background workflows while complying with Android best practices
· Keep up to date with cutting edge architectures, patterns and methodologies
· Have Proficient skillset in using Git as a version control system

BONUS POINTS FOR
Experience or awareness of Jetpack Architecture
Experience or awareness of Jetpack Compose
Experience or awareness of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery for Android Apps

Key Responsibilities and Duties
While, the candidate will be expected to help out wherever needed, their primary duties will be:

1. Developing and implementing all aspects of the Voodlee Android apps including native functionality, designs and user interfaces
2. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies, patterns, architectures and methodologies to maximize development efficiency and product quality
3. Work in close collaboration with the rest of the team to deliver superb complete products
4. Learn fast and grow with the company
