Application Quality Engineer

Paperflite is hiring for the position of an Application Quality Engineer to drive quality through manual and automated testing.

You will be responsible to -

• Review and analyze feature specifications - technical & functional requirements requirements, UI designs and interactions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop effective testing strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct regression, build-validation, and post-production testing
• Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Skills/Requirements:

• Proven experience (1-4yrs) as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and test automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, etc)
• Ability to catalog defects, issues with experience in tools (bugzilla, zoho bug tracker, etc)
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. QC ALM, Jira, etc)
• Ability to facilitate defect review discussions and manage defects/resolution processes
• Good communication skills to articulate issues to team
• Strong organizational skills
• BSc/BE in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
