Job Title: Devops, Tooling and Visualization
Duration-1 year contract to start with
Location- Montreal

Key responsibilities include:

● Design, develop, and implement technological applications
● Development work on user interfaces (JavaScript/ReactJS/AngularJS)
● Development of infrastructure control systems, configuration stores & APIs
● Creation and maintenance of unit, system and integration and acceptance tests and implementing logging, monitoring and performance tests
● Collaboration with customers and partners to implement integrations with our tooling, drive migration and adoption through automation
● Last-line-of-escalation support for production systems, as required

Required skills

● 5+ years of experience
● Proficiency in python,
● Experience JavaScript,
● Knowledge of regEx, and other web technologies like REST APIs
● Excellent UX, UI, and visualization skills
● Good understanding of data storage & transport like Kafka, caching, timeseries, relational, NAS, etc
● Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
● Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment

Nice to have

● Knowledge of visualizations tools like like d3.js, Grafana, Angular
● Experience using CI/CD tools, such as Git and Jenkins
● A history of successful automations and innovative solutions
● Experience with what “good” looks like regarding Cloud technologies like Docker, K8, Azure, etc
● Proficiency with Java, Go, and .Net
● Disciplined testing practices and experience with tools like Jasmine, Karma, Jenkins, etc
● High-quality written knowledge transfer following disciplined documentation practices
