As a backend developer, your manager will be our CTO and you will be working closely with the whole development team, building the procurement process- and payment services of tomorrow.

We would like to see

• Minimum 2 years experience with Ruby on Rails
• A “can do” attitude and desire to always learn new technologies
• Structured and analytical thinking and approach to problem solving

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and well-tested Ruby code
• Relational database schema design, maintenance, and optimization
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
• Doing direct integrations with other systems, such as payment services.
• Expanding our API for other systems to integrate with us.
• Adding new features.
• Optimising for performance.
• Squashing bugs.
• Improving security.
