Director of Marketing at Sarus

Your mission
We are looking for a Director of Marketing to help build out our vision that innovation on data is possible without compromising on privacy. You will design and implement a marketing strategy to position Sarus in the market of privacy technology. You will take part in building a powerful narrative about the problem we solve and why it matters to our customers. You will establish Sarus as a public brand in the AI and data industries.
You will report directly to the CEO. You will be the first hire in the marketing department and could be led to building your own team covering marketing strategy, product marketing, and content marketing.

Your profile
You have a lot of energy and an irrepressible desire to bring people along with you, you are creative and like to try new approaches, you challenge status quo and look at things from the other angle, you back your thesis with data whenever possible, explain your intuition when not, you can turn a deep technical matter into a simple pitch, you are curious and excited about the potential for AI to create a positive impact across industries.

Skillset:

• 3+ year of marketing experience in a management role
• Proven track record designing and executing a marketing strategy in a technical field
• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking in English
• Ability to make things simple and concise
• Experience working for enterprise software company

Bonus skills

• Comfortable with data and technology
• Experience building an enterprise brand strategy at a technology startup
• Demand generation trackrecord
