Software Engineer- Ruby on Rails

Solute TechnoLabs is looking for a full-stack Ruby on Rails web & backend developer to join our backend development team building a scalable & robust backend with is purely API driven or web application.
If you’re passionate about backend development using open source platforms and scalable for millions of users, we would like to meet you. As a Ruby on Rails backend developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional backend applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ultimately, you should be able to architect and build the next generation of our backend application that is used by millions of users via iOS, Android or Frontend PWA

Responsibilities
Generating error-free code and compliance of SOW
Managing development processes & working notes
Growing technical skills and be an active part in technical transformation in the company
When required managing client communication for projects assigned
Reporting on project activities and ensuring timely completion of projects/assignments
Guiding Jr. Developers for completion of their work
Additional Responsibilities:
Managing a good environment in the company
Supporting team leaders and members for their work
Supporting other team members growing technically and training them
QC of own work [Perform Unit Testing of work done]

Requirements

Required Skill Sets:

Must Have
Solid understanding of object oriented programming.
Solid understanding of Ruby.
Experience with Ruby On Rails MVC app and REST APIs.
Basic understanding of front end technologies, such as HTML, javascript, bootstrap, css.
Experience working with background and cron jobs.
Experience in testing frameworks such as Rspec, Cucumber.
Good knowledge of relational database and have worked with PostgreSql/MySql.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools(git, bitbucket)
Code organization best practices.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge or Experience with Graphql API
Knowledge of AWS.
Knowledge of CD/CI
