The Role

Enterprise Sales Leader - Higher Education Software Sector

Location: San Francisco, CA, Austin, TX or remote.

Come join us! Quottly is looking for a highly motivated, driven sales professional who knows how to hustle, and is excited about being a founding sales leader in our growing startup. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to build Quottly’s sales organization and processes; prospect, cultivate, and close new accounts to hit ambitious sales targets; and build Quottly’s brand equity in the global Higher Education software sector.

We believe that all students - traditional, non-traditional, and adult learners -- should be able to easily find and register for courses and programs that work with their schedules to set them on a timely path to graduate with a degree or certificate that leads to academic and/or career success.

Quottly’s product suite makes it easy for colleges and universities to create a unified cross-campus course and program discovery and registration experience for their students. Our software enables students to augment their academic experience with course work from other campuses, access cross-campus certificate programs, and graduate on-time with less debt. At the same time, the platform enables colleges and universities to fill empty seats and increase completion rates.

We currently work with over 150 colleges and universities with a combined enrollment of 2 million students.

And, we are winning awards for our software! Since our launch, we have won the SXSW EDU’s Launch competition and a California Higher Education Collaboration (CHEC) Innovation “Change Leader” award.

Responsibilities --

· Work with Quotlty’s co-founders to develop sales collateral and pitch materials for our cross-registration product suite
· Cultivate a pipeline and close new customers to meet quarterly and annual sales targets
· Develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth against company bookings target
· Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior university stakeholders such as Provosts, VPs of Academic and Student Services, and VPs of Academic Affairs
· Seek and share customer feedback to generate ideas about new features and offerings
· Learn and maintain deep knowledge of Quottly’s solution, value proposition, competitors, and industry trends

About you --
· Experienced sales professional with at least 3 years of sales experience and 1 year of enterprise sales experience
· A go-getter who thrives in a fast paced, challenging early-stage startup environment
· Have success winning business with a consultative sales approach
· Creative thinker with experience negotiating and structuring win-win agreements that meet customer needs
· Strong history of reaching and exceeding sales quotas
· Experience preparing effective sales proposals and collateral
· Willingness to travel
· Higher Education software sales experience a plus.
