What you will be doing ?
- Develop new features and functionality for our WordPress-based properties using PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- Create, set up and manage the server and CDN setup for our website.
- Monitor and improve website loading times, TTFB, and other performance metrics.
- Diagnose and fix site bottlenecks related to caching, CDN, etc.
- Customize WordPress core, plugins, and themes to fit business needs.
- Implement responsive design and optimize site performance.
- Integrate WordPress applications with APIs and external platforms.
- Create website pages, landing pages, and HTML email templates using best practices.
- Diagnose and debug plugin conflicts, performance issues, and other technical problems.
- Create custom scripts and tools to migrate WordPress data into databases.
- Assist with aggregating and analyzing user behaviour data to derive insights.
- Recommend enhancements based on website analytics and metrics.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers.
You Should:
- Have 3+ years of experience owning and managing corporate websites, web programming, and site setup.
- Have expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
- Have an Understanding of WordPress APIs like WP REST API.
- Have familiarity with CDNs like CloudFlare, Fastly etc.
- Have familiarity with analytics tools and platforms.
- Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
