THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION, BASED IN OUR WASHINGTON D.C. OFFICE.

THE ROLE

You will be directly responsible for ensuring our business and our office runs like a well-oiled machine. You should thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment where excellence and creativity are valued. This role is ideal for someone who delights in exceeding expectations and has a knack for anticipating business needs. You will provide critical support to the executive team, manage all office operations, as well as execute events to engage and reward employees. Your role objectives and duties will include but not limited to:

  • Overseeing general office management and effective communications within and across multiple global offices
  • Communicating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including managing extremely active calendars, helping to draft agendas and follow ups from important meetings, preparing correspondence and planning events
  • Managing administrative tasks such as: completing expense reports, data management, arranging travel, coordinating activities all while staying updated on changing priorities and events and adjusting accordingly
  • Maintaining facilities management, including space planning/design, vendor contracts, and relations
  • Acting as a primary liaison between the company, staff, and office building management, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests
  • Promoting fun and team-oriented work environment

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of office management experience or administrative support in a fast-paced work environment
  • Event planning and execution experience preferred
  • Superior time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses
  • Experience developing internal processes and systems
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom Meeting, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems

A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple time zones and locations!

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload, tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
