- Employers
- Colleges
This position is for GetWork's Business Development Manager for Colleges.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Identifying new college sales leads
Pitching GetWork's recruitment platform to colleges
Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing colleges
Generating leads, day-to-day duties include:
Researching colleges and their chief executive staff online (especially on LinkedIn) to identify new leads and potential new markets
Researching the requirements of other colleges and learning who makes executive decisions about sales
Contacting potential leads via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
To the challenge of actually selling, other duties include:
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and product displays
Contacting colleges to inform them about new developments in our product
Developing quotes and proposals
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
