Hardware Design Engineer - Microcontrollers and Power systems

The Hardware Design Engineer will be working to design complex systems from scratch.

Skills required

• Schematic capture & PCB design - Orcad, Altium
• High density layout and multilayer boards, controlled impedance traces, RF transmission lines, etched antennas, grounding techniques, high speed digital, BGAs, power supplies, etc.
• Layout techniques for EMI/EMC, signal integrity, crosstalk validation, layout designing, DRC, high speed design, PCB stack up
• Battery system design - BMS, Lithium-ion batteries, Power control
• Digital/analog circuit design
• Testing and bring-up experience
• Understanding of microcontrollers - STM32, ARM
• Good understanding of DFM and PCB fabrication processes
• Oversee manufacturing of PCB designs
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience
