Senior Front End Engineer

At Gaiasys, we are developing a digital ecosystem for enterprises and individuals for their resource planning, professional networking and also meet their procurement & services needs hassle-free through our B2B market place platform, which makes us a complete solution for the companies.

In the Ist phase, we are targeting the infrastructure industry as a whole, which accounts for a major chunk of the economy and is in desperate need for organization.

Our board consists of major players from the industry who bring their immense business domain knowledge to help formulate the best possible solutions to the problems plaguing the industry.

To tackle these problems we are looking to hire a team of dedicated, hard working and talented engineers who have a desire to make an impact.

• Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic.

• You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

Responsibilities and Duties :

The candidate will be responsible for dispensing the following duties :

• Develop new user-facing features

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills :

Skills and Qualifications required :

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds

• Knowledge of web markup, including HTML5/CSS/SCSS

• Good understanding of Angular 4+

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

• Knowledge of newer alternatives such as the Fetch Api, Web workers and Module Loaders is a plus

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues

• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js

• Proficiency with Webpack

• Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git

• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance

• Alteast 70% in Class 10th and 12th

• A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 65% in their Bachelors
