Responsibilites:
- collaborate with the product team and other developers to deliver solutions fast
- maintain uptime of a high traffic production environment
- design, create, document and maintain APIs
- cover your code with tests
- improve the existing codebase with better architectural solutions
- to handle the fast growing traffic by evolving the infrastructure to achieve higher scalability and availability


Requirements:
- to have at least 5-7 years of experience with server-side web frameworks
Able to make sound decisions independently, and always curious.
- to be familiar with the services available from cloud service providers
- to be excited to deal with scaling backend solutions (we really have a lot of users)
- good devops skills (provision and maintain services)
- to be familiar with logging and monitoring technologies
- must be self-driven, good team player with initiative to pick up and share new technologies
- good written and verbal communication skills in English


Advantageous to have:
- video space related knowledge and technologies (i/b/p frames, h264, rtmp, ffmpeg)
- worked with developing social media features (notification and news feed, privacy)
- experience with managing and provisioning via infrastructure as code

This position is in Singapore, full time onsite only.
