Technical Architect / Engineering Manager

Wifi-soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (wifi-soft.com) is a 11+ year old product based company located in Teerth Technospace IT Park, Baner, Pune. We are one of the leading WiFi companies in the world for cloud-based management, controller solutions and access points. Our products are deployed in over 45 countries and we serve millions of users each month.

Over past couple of years we are witnessing explosive growth in WiFi and IOT sector and Wifisoft is uniquely poised to leverage its current position and grow in this space. We have laid out plans for the coming years to build exciting products/solutions and become one of the leading OEM for wireless & networking products in India.

We are looking for technical leaders who are interested in building innovative products and working on end-to-end software and hardware development. The position will directly report to CEO and will be also responsible for spear heading the engineering team within the company.

We are looking for a candidates who have 6-8 years of industry experience and capable of managing a team of 15-20 developers, testers and support engineers. The candidate is expected to play a role of Product Architect, Technical Leader and Project Manager. A sound knowledge of software development (Agile), project management, system software (Linux, embedded programming, cross-compilation,Perl, shell scripting, makefiles, GDB), Full-Stack Development (AWS/EC2/ELB/S3, LAMP, PHP, Python, Postgresql/MySql, Web Frameworks, JQuery, AngularJS, MongoDB, NodeJS, etc) , Linux and computer networks is desirable.

Although the position is mostly managerial, we expect the candidate to be hands-on and able to provide technical leadership and define the product roadmap of the company.

The candidate will have an opportunity to move into senior role (COO/VP Engineering) based on his/her performance, experience and capacity. We are open to other forms of compensation besides regular salary and expect the candidate to play an important role in shaping the company in the coming years.
