This is a fully remote, full-time position.
**Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Research Planning & Execution: Design and conduct a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research studies including interviews, usability tests, surveys, contextual inquiries, and more. Insight Analysis & Synthesis: Analyze research data rigorously to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that illuminate user needs, motivations, and challenges. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, design, engineering, and customer success teams to translate research findings into product strategy, feature development, and user-centric solutions. Evangelism & Communication: Advocate for the user's perspective throughout the organization, effectively presenting research findings in clear and compelling ways through reports, presentations, and workshops. Research Method Evolution: Stay up-to-date on the latest user research methodologies and best practices, recommending and implementing new techniques to enhance our research capabilities.
Product Strategy & Vision: 1. Develop and refine product strategies aligned with customer objectives. 2. Engage in market research to identify trends and customer needs. 3. Define the product vision and strategy, and ensure that it is aligned with the cutsomers's overall business goals.
Roadmap Planning: 1. Create and maintain product roadmaps to guide project timelines and deliverables. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features based on business value and customer feedback.
Requirements Gathering: 1. Lead the process of gathering and documenting detailed product requirements. 2. Engage stakeholders to validate requirements and product concepts.
Collaboration and Communication:
Stakeholder Communication: 1. Foster open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones. 2. Act as the main point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and development teams. 3. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including product managers, executives, and customers, to keep them informed of progress and address any concerns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: 1. Collaborate with various departments to ensure the seamless integration of technologies and solutions. 2. Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address complex challenges and foster innovation.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4 + years of proven experience in user research, preferably within B2B software environments and with a focus on technical audiences. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or a related field. Qualitative & Quantitative Expertise: Strong proficiency in a variety of qualitative research methods (interviewing, usability testing, ethnographic observation) as well as quantitative methods (surveys, data analysis). Technical Understanding: A foundational understanding of development processes, IT service management concepts, and an eagerness to dive deeper into the technical aspects of our platform. Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor insights for diverse stakeholders. Passion & Curiosity: A genuine passion for understanding users and an unwavering drive to improve their experiences.

All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories. Some federal contracts require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment.

As a Cloud/DevOps/SRE Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
