Company Overview:
Commonly is helping people build lasting friendships with the use of technology and in-person social connections. The US is experiencing a loneliness epidemic with over 200M Americans feeling the effects. Not only does this lead to unhappiness, but it puts people at risk of depression, anxiety, and even premature death. As humans, we seek connection, but as we become adults, there are fewer opportunities to find and cultivate it.
We believe the key to solving this epidemic is to help as many people as possible by matching small groups of like-minded people together and scheduling in-person events where people can get to know each other. It’s not a dating app, there are no public profiles, and no swiping - ever.
We’re seeking a highly motivated and mission focused individual to join our team as a Social Media Intern. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get into a startup at the ground level and gain hands-on experience helping us build a local community from 0 to 1.
We just launched our mobile apps and are building excitement in the Denver area. We need your help to get the word out!
You’ll be surrounded by experienced people from companies like Google and Superhuman committed to helping you grow while creating real change in people’s lives.
