George HosuThe Role
I need of someone that understands how to build, operate and asses all forms of hardware used for brain and msucle imaging.
You needn't be experienced or an expert in all of these areas, but you should feel comfortable with everything from operating, to doing (very simple) repairs, to creating an insulated room for a MEG or MRI device within a month.
The project is a research space & incubator for neurotech startups with a focus on cognitive enhancement and longevity, your role will be supporting other projects with an outlook towards building your own product out of the research being conducated if you are so inclined.
The most pressing imaging modalities for us right now are: fNIRs, EMG, MEG, and cETI in that order. 3 of them are quite niche so no hands-on experience is needed but ability and willingness to learn fast is key.
