Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Specialist with expertise in technology support programmes, and other similar initiatives. As a Grants Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the grant application process, providing guidance to applicants, and ensuring compliance with program requirements. Your role will be crucial in supporting businesses and organizations in harnessing technological advancements and driving innovation.
Grant Application Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end grant application process, including application intake, evaluation, and approval.
- Review and assess grant applications for eligibility, completeness, and adherence to program guidelines.
- Collaborate with applicants to address any deficiencies or required documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant applications, approvals, and rejections.
Program Guidance and Support:
- Provide comprehensive guidance and advice to potential applicants regarding the technology support programmes.
- Assist applicants in understanding program objectives, eligibility criteria, and funding guidelines.
- Offer technical support in preparing grant proposals, ensuring alignment with program objectives and requirements.
- Conduct information sessions, workshops, and outreach activities to promote awareness and understanding of the programmes.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to verify adherence to grant conditions and utilization of funds.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on grant activities, outcomes, and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather data and information for reporting purposes.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant government agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders involved in technology support programmes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify emerging industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and events to promote the programmes and gather feedback for program improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in technology support programmes.
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of grant administration.
- Provide recommendations for program enhancements based on applicant feedback, industry insights, and evaluation results.
Skillset Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics, or technology management. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing and administering grants, preferably in technology support programmes.
- Excellent knowledge of Government fund program, and other similar technology support programmes.
- Familiarity with government policies, regulations, and procedures related to grant administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate grant proposals and assess project feasibility.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with applicants and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in using relevant software applications and databases for grant management and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
