What You Will Do

• Direct and grow our QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Mentor QA engineers, promoting skill development and career progression.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with our product roadmap and business objectives. Ensure the integration of QA processes with CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment.
• Elevate our testing automation frameworks, employing cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Champion quality engineering practices across all phases of the product development lifecycle, influencing design, development, and deployment strategies to improve product quality.
• Work closely with product management, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of quality objectives and outcomes.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and technologies. Implement innovative testing solutions and practices to address emerging software challenges.
• Lead efforts in performance and security testing, ensuring our products are robust, reliable, and secure against evolving threats.

Who We Are Looking For
Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive Quality Assurance Experience: Seeking a professional with over 5 years in the Quality Assurance landscape, ready to embrace the dynamic and innovative nature of a startup environment.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about taking ownership and driving excellence in QA practices.
• Leadership and Team Development: Demonstrated ability in leading, mentoring, and inspiring QA teams within a fast-paced Agile setting. We value leaders who are committed to fostering team growth and enhancing our collaborative culture.
• Comprehensive QA Expertise: Deep knowledge across a broad spectrum of testing methodologies, including Manual Testing (Test Planning, Test Documentation), API Testing, Performance Testing, and
• Automation Testing. Experience in end-to-end quality assurance processes is essential.
• Automation Mastery: A strong track record in crafting and executing sophisticated automation scripts. Must be proficient in utilizing leading automation tools and frameworks, with specific experience in Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium being highly desirable.
• Technical Acumen: Solid foundation in software development and testing principles. Candidates should possess expertise in SQL, various scripting languages, and both white and black box testing approaches. Familiarity with programming languages like Java or JavaScript for testing purposes will be advantageous.
• Agile Methodology Proficiency: In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum practices, and how they integrate within QA processes. Applicants should be able to demonstrate how Agile principles guide their work and QA strategy.
• Strategic Mindset: The capacity to think strategically and align quality assurance processes with broader company goals. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the skill to manage multiple projects concurrently are vital.
• Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are non-negotiable. We are looking for a self-driven, motivated individual capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
