YOUR ROLE
As an Industrial Designer at ZURU Tech, you will play a crucial role in making the ZURU product a state-of-the-art architectural system. You will define new product concept to grow the ZURU product versatility and potential, and see them through completion, working with our development and manufacturing teams.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Through your efforts, you will significantly impact the quality of the ZURU product by harmonizing the various elements that constitute our architectural system, elevating its overall quality and seamlessly integrating a wide range of design options.

Your input will be crucial in connecting diverse facets of design, manufacturing, and functionality, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed industry standards. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you'll play a pivotal role in refining the design aesthetics and optimizing the functionality of our offerings.

Additionally, your will actively participate in the design and production of exclusive properties that showcase the unparalleled potential of our products, solidifying our position as industry innovators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop prefabricated architectural components, encompassing structural components, facade features and fenestration
• Develop prefabricated product for interior use, such as bathrooms, kitchens, staircases, and interior storage solutions that will integrate into the building architecture
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure the highest quality of our product, maintaining a cohesive and practical result, and optimizing for aesthetic appeal, user experience and manufacturing feasibility
• Utilize CAD tools (Rhino is a must) and other design software to create detailed drawings, prototypes, and visualizations of industrial design concepts
• Work closely with the software development team to implement the products into the ZURU software, creating the best user experience possible
• Work closely with manufacturing team to design a series of test building and establish a protocol to test and improve our products

REQUIRED

• Master’s degree in industrial design or Product Design
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial design role, preferably in architecture or in the construction industry
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Rhino, and other relevant design tools
• Very strong communication skills, both technical and visual, to effectively convey design concepts and ideas
• Ability to use and develop new tools without being afraid to challenge traditional work methods and processes
• Capacity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team and to move project forward in a fast timeline
• Knowledge of building code and standards
