The Day To Day Work:
We are looking for an experience electrical engineer to help guide our technology team towards our business goals. In this role you would be respobsinle for taking our hardware designs and plans and turning them into a reality.

In this position you will apply engineering judgement to design, build, test, and document your complete solution from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate is a detailed oriented electrical engineer with background and experience with manufacturing test equipment, automated test systems, calibration methods, data acquisition, data management, data analysis and reporting.

Good communication skills are required to write clear specification, assembly, and user documents as well as manage vendor progress and conformance to expectations. Ability to analyze and summarize data, and then present salient results to team members is expected.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to our tandards and requirements.
2. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials including Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
3. Creating hardware components such as circuit boards, processors, and memory cards qnd testing hardware components both individually and in conjunction with external computer systems.
4. Supervising and training software developers to ensure that the hardware performs as intended.
5. Completing the final product's functionality and performance tests.
6. Collabeotaritng with our vendor partners to supervise the manufacturing of hardware components and completed products.

Required Skill Set:

1. Fundamental understand of software, hardware, and relevant understanding biostatistics.
2. Experience with printed circuit board assembly design and manufacture including board layout, materials selection, SMT, and test.
3. Understanding of calibration and the propagation of uncertainty and traceability to the SI.
4. Effective in performing detailed electrical design reviews.
5. Hands on experience in working with fixture, tools, and precision instrumentations.
6. Experience with electrical test equipment such as power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes,
7. Hands on source meters, electronic loads, logic analyzers, and data loggers.
8. Hands on experience in troubleshooting complex electrical apparatus at the component level.
9. Knowledgeable in statistical analysis of data and tools for analytics.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly present data.
11. Ability to clearly explain complex system issues.
12. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
13. Competent using a variety of productivity tools.
14. Ability to work in close cooperation with a cross-functional teams of professionals.
15. Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering from an accredited school.
16. A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role is required or a Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering from an accredited school.
17. Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
18. Proficient in design and calculation software.
19. Analytical thinking combined with strong problem-solving abilities.
20. The ability to work under pressure and to a strict deadline.
21. Capability to collaborate closely with the software development team to identify potential issues in a system configuration.
22. Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, software, and electrical systems is required.
