이 포지션은 기술에 열정을 가진 엔지니어를 대상으로 하며, 컨퍼런스, 사용자 그룹, 그리고 블로그를 통해 혁신적인 기술에 대한 이야기를 즐기는 사람을 찾고 있습니다. 이 역할은 또한 제품 관리자, 기술 문서 작성자, 그리고 SDK 개발 팀과의 내부 소통도 요구됩니다.

이런 일을 하실 수 있어요

• 외부 개발자들의 피드백을 수집하고 공유하여 제품 로드맵에 영향을 미치고 API 및 새로운 기능을 개선하여 제품이 개발자 커뮤니티의 요구 사항과 관점과 일치하도록 합니다.
• 컨퍼런스, 기술 토크 등의 이벤트에 참여하여 개발자 커뮤니티와 관계를 유지하고 활성화합니다.
• 개발자들이 관심가질 만한 데모, 샘플 앱 및 코드 샘플을 작성하여 개발자 경험을 향상시킵니다.
• Technical Writer 및 엔지니어와 협력하여 지속적으로 SDK 및 API를 개선합니다.
• 유튜브 채널, 팟캐스트 및 기타 소셜 미디어 플랫폼에 게시할 동영상을 제작하고 워크샵을 주최하여 개발자 커뮤니티와 교육 및 연결을 증진합니다.
• 경쟁 업체 SDK/API 분석, B2B 제품 트렌드 및 개발자 커뮤니티 모니터링을 포함한 포괄적인 제품 연구 및 벤치마킹을 수행합니다.
• 개발자 관련 소셜 미디어 채널에서 개발자들이 신뢰할 수 있는 DA로 활동합니다.

이런 분과 함께 하고 싶어요

• 컴퓨터 공학 학사 학위 또는 동등한 실무 경험 보유
• 소프트웨어 엔지니어, DA 또는 동등한 기술 경험으로 최소 4년 이상의 경력 보유
• 문서 작성 및 구두 커뮤니케이션 기술 보유
• 탁월한 영어 커뮤니케이션 및 문서 작성 기술 보유
• 기술 컨설팅 또는 기술/개발 커뮤니티 참여 경험 1-2년 이상 보유
• ​​​API, SDK 및 클라이언트 라이브러리와 같은 타사 개발자 도구를 사용하고 구축하는 경험 보유
• 오픈 소스 플랫폼, 블로그, YouTube 비디오 시리즈, 기술 컨퍼런스, 해커톤, 밋업, 기술 교육 및 훈련과 같은 온라인 및 오프라인 개발자 커뮤니티 및 생태계 참여 경험 보유
• Android, iOS, React, React Native, Flutter 중 하나 이상의 플랫폼에서 개발 경험이 있음.

The Developer Experience team ensures we stay connected with tech-loving communities. Third-party developers create applications and businesses on Sendbird's APIs and platform. As Developer Advocates, we enthusiastically promote Sendbird technologies and represent third-party developers’ interests within Sendbird to enhance the developer experience.

This position is ideal for engineers passionate about connecting with developers and speaking about cutting-edge technologies at developer conferences, user groups, and on blogs. It requires internal communication with Product Managers, Technical Writers, and SDK teams.

What you will do

• Gather , synthesize and share third-party developers' feedback with our engineering, product, and marketing teams to influence our product roadmap and enhance our APIs and new features, ensuring our offerings align with the needs and perspectives of the developer community.
• Engage with our developer community by fostering relationships through participation in events like conferences, tech talks, etc.
• Enhance the developer experience by creating inspiring demos, sample apps, and code samples
• Collaborate with technical writers and engineers to continuously improve our SDKs and APIs.
• Produce engaging videos and host workshops for publication on our YouTube channel, podcasts, and other social media platforms to educate and connect with our developer community.
• Conduct comprehensive product research and benchmarking, including competitor SDK/API analysis, B2B product trends and monitoring developer communities.
• Maintain a strong and credible presence in social media channels relevant to developers.

What you'll bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer, Developer Advocate or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good written and verbal English skills.
• 1-2 years of technical consulting or in a community engagement capacity.
• Experience working with and building third-party developer tools such as APIs, SDKs, and client libraries.
• Participated in online and offline developer communities and ecosystems such as open-source platforms, blogs, YouTube video series, tech conferences, hackathons, meet-ups, technical teaching, and training.
• Experience with one or some of the following: Android, iOS, React, React Native, Flutter

We are specifically interest in

• Experience in SaaS marketing and the AI domain.
• Speaking at or hosting in-person or virtual events.
• Strong social presence.
• Examples of written content (e.g., Medium, Dev.to, personal blog, other).
• Experience with large group communications and presentations including both technical and business audiences.
• Track record of helping fellow developers.
