Product Manager

Building on our monumental success in the sports sector, we are on the lookout for a Lead Product Manager to translate our winning strategies and innovations to the defense solutions arena.

At Kitman Labs, our approach is to integrate the insights and methodologies that have revolutionized sports performance and apply them to meet the rigorous demands and unique challenges of the defense sector. Collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and defense specialists, this role is pivotal in harnessing our sports industry success to forge cutting-edge defense solutions. This is a remote role, where the candidate must be based in the US. The successful candidate will be a US national, preferably has held security clearance, but must be in a position to obtain clearance.

We will expect you to:

• Work directly with the VP of Product and Defense Business Unit to align our product strategy to achieve the best results for our clients and achieve our company objectives
• Deep market and client engagement to understand how Kitman Labs’ human performance solution from sport can be best applied into the defense sector, and vice versa
• Own the full product lifecycle from idea to release across our defense solution
• Deliver product that represents the values of Kitman Labs, and be responsible for delivering a world class experience every time
• Ensure we’re focused on the highest impact work, and foster the principle of building the smallest valuable state and incrementing based on evidence and feedback
• Be responsible for scaling our product delivery processes to meet the needs of the business for the next stage of our growth
• Work with, and guide, other product managers to form a coherent portfolio roadmap
• Collaborate across all stakeholders in the GTM process to ensure market success

Experience and skills we're looking for:

• Track record in successful B2B software as a service products
• Experience delivering products into government agencies, ideally the Department of Defense
• Excellent client facing and stakeholder management skills, having been involved in a number of significant product launches
• Strong background in building products with design at the centre of your approach
• Able to build and implement global product strategies and roadmap
• Customer-centric mindset and able to translate that into a product development process
• Able to incorporate both qualitative and quantitative inputs to inform decision making
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in engineering, product marketing, sales and account management to drive company-wide strategies and processes and deliver results
• Comfortable making decisions without consensus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, at direct to customer standard
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and highly organised

Ideally you will have:

• Experience working in or with the DoD would be a significant advantage
• An understanding of launching products in controlled environments
• Having engaged with the FedRamp or DISA ATO process
