The International Finance Manager will be responsible for our international payroll and finance operations, supporting the company’s financial record-keeping and reporting requirements under U.S. and local accounting standards. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in managing our international financial operations and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements. This includes responsibility for managing and ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of multiple payrolls for our global workforce. This is an exciting hands-on position that requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with effective communication.

Impact you will make in the role:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations and monthly financial close activities for multiple international subsidiaries.
  • Lead and manage the international payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing of multiple international payrolls worldwide.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely reporting of payroll data.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and analyze monthly flux changes.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with U.S. and local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support multiple financial audits by providing requested audit schedules and addressing inquiries from auditors.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and payroll regulations and ensure compliance across all countries of operation.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll and finance operations.
  • Provide estimated monthly funding needs of each foreign entity.
  • Assist with international accounts payable and purchase orders.

Expertise you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience as a finance or accounting manager responsible for the payroll management of multiple countries, monthly financial close, financial analysis, cash management and accounts payable.
  • Experience working with external payroll vendors.
  • Strong understanding of global payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite Required.
  • Experience with Concur & Tipalti, highly desirable.
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Superior communication, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance.
  • Team player with the ability to develop collaborative relationships.
