Billing Specialist

What you will be doing:

We are looking for a driven and talented Billing Specialist to help ensure accurate and timely billing of our valued customers. You will join our growing Cluj-based Finance Team and work closely with our UK Finance team in driving excellence and attention to detail in our customer billing cycle.

This is a great role for someone who is process-driven and wants to look to develop and learn from a highly skilled and motivated accounting team in a fast-paced SaaS Technology environment.

As a Billing Specialist, you will be:

• Ensuring that customer invoices are sent accurately and on time
• Implementing controls to ensure the pinpoint accuracy of customer invoices
• Implementing billing schedules to help ensure the timeliness of customer invoices
• Handling customer queries around billing
• Managing our internal ticketing system on sales team billing queries
• Processing credit notes and bill adjustments
• Working with credit control in helping to ensure we are paid correctly and on time
• Revenue reporting and business KPIs

What does success look like after 3 months?

• Fully across our current customer billing cycle
• Processing bills end to end with little support and review required
• Improved processing times and accuracy metrics around customer billing
• Identified opportunities for efficiency gains and process improvements
• Reduction in customer billing issues and queries

About you:

As a Billing Specialist, you will have:

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• An understanding of revenue accounting principles
• A keen interest in SaaS and Technology businesses.
