Teknika is a hybrid of software development company and mini-VC firm. This gives us the profit engine of software development while our equity positions give us the excitement and growth potential of a product company - only more diversified!

On the software development front, we are developing our own framework of highly modular, reusable, and easy to customize code assets which allow us to efficiently execute software solutions built to each client's unique requirements. We excel at executing on highly scale-able web, mobile, and hardware projects that range from simple apps to enterprise grade business management solutions with a focus on building simple and intuitive user interfaces and designs while enforcing a standard set of best practices shared among all our projects and engineers.

We have venture capital in our DNA due to our co-founder, Steve Millaway, who is famous for his company that developed the USB 2.0 chip as well as his VC firm, TechFarms Capital. His expertise allows us to take strong equity positions in select clients to build a portfolio of assets that grow long term value in the company and sticky customers. We do this while remaining profitable in our own right.

Your role:
You will be responsible for leveraging your technical and management background to lead multiple projects through the full software development life-cycle using our highly refined process - from gathering projects requirements from new clients during our discovery phase, refining those requirements and working closely with our design team during the mock-up phase, and finally guiding and providing oversite to the project and our team in execution during the development phase - from project kick off to final delivery

You will interface directly with lead developers/designers on projects as well as communicating with the exec team to ensure projects are executed on schedule and to our quality standards.

Adapting quickly to our highly customized framework with its unique architecture. — Making informed programming decisions within specific timeframes, while adhering to the framework's guidelines.

Your Profile:
This is technical and managerial position, as such, you should have:

• Proven development experience (minimum 4-years) (ideally with C#/Flutter/Angular)
• Proven experience with managing development teams (minimum 2-years) over the full life cycle
• Should be able to have intelligent development conversations with development team leads, the exec team and clients.
• High reliability, accountability, and trustworthiness
• Able to communicate smartly with clients regarding their software project and earn their trust and confidence.
• Able to participate in technical interviews either independently or in conjunction with other senior development talent in our company.

Nice to have:
User Interface / Experience and Design - The ability to work with our designers and help guide them in creating intuitive and effective user interfaces that are both easy to interact with from an end user perspective and easy to implement from a development perspective.
