The Role

We grew 85% last year, and our ambitions to grow further require an experienced seller in the U.S. to expand our AAA game publisher customer base. Our marketing attribution technology is market-leading, and our influencer services are world-class. Our customers include some of the world’s top publishers, like Bungie, Capcom, Scopely, Nexon, Ubisoft, and Sega. We need your help to expand this list and take Gamesight to the next level. To be successful, you will generate new leads based on your established relationships with AAA publishers and upcoming game release schedules to evangelize the product to those who aren’t yet familiar with Gamesight. You’ll play games, join communities, go to industry events, work closely with our tech and ops teams, and talk with customers about how we can help make their games marketing more successful. We’re a high-performing and nimble company that acts quickly and values input from all corners. Bring your personality, ideas, and initiative to help us keep innovating and growing. The compensation for this position is $180,000 to $260,000 OTE depending on experience.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute strategies for generating new leads and business opportunities to close enterprise-level deals, leveraging your existing experience and network.
  • Own every piece of your sales pipeline, including prospecting, outreach, qualifying leads, product presentations/demos, pricing negotiations, account management, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer pipeline through our CRM.
  • Report regularly to the CRO on the status of your accounts.
  • Be the advocate for your customers inside Gamesight to ensure their satisfaction and retention. Liaison between customers and all departments at Gamesight in order to facilitate and expedite any activities/logistics associated with active campaigns.
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences sharing the capabilities of Gamesight.

Who you'll work with:

  • You'll report directly to the CRO, who will help remove obstacles in your way.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to understand Gamesight-specific strategies and methodologies that have been successful to date.
  • You’ll partner up with our Solutions Engineers to help you better understand, tailor, and sell our marketing attribution software.
  • You’ll work closely with Influencer Campaign Managers and Data Analysts to help craft your influencer campaign proposals.
  • You’ll share ideas, swap leads, and get support when you’re out of the office from your fellow sales team members.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years selling directly to game developers/publishers. 📅
  • 5+ years selling one or more of the following: influencer services, ad tech, media, video advertising, or branded content. 🎥
  • Experience working with/on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or influencer agencies. 💻
  • Deep understanding of Twitch/Twitter/YouTube Gaming space, its trends, and its influencers. 🧠
  • Excellent interpersonal, emailing, writing, and speaking skills. 📝
  • Ready to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 🚤
  • Advanced skills with basic computer software (Slack, Google Workspace, CRM). 🖥
  • You are eager to learn. As a pioneer in a new space, there are still uncharted territories to be explored. You have a hunger for learning and an interest in being the best at what you do. 📚

Nice to Haves:

  • Active social media presence - you’re active on LinkedIn, understand the power of Discord, and maybe even have your own Twitch or TikTok account.
  • Avid PC/console gamer who plays and understands our customers’ products. 🎮
  • Located on the West Coast of the United States (CA, WA, OR) - strong preference for California candidates. 🗺

Success in 90 Days:

  • You are aware of Gamesight policies, guidelines, teams, and roles.
  • You activate your existing relationships with publishers to generate sales opportunities.
  • You can access all tools and resources required for you to be effective – you also understand how to use these tools within Gamesight’s processes.
  • You understand Gamesight’s methodology and approach to influencer campaigns, creator programs, and community-building.
  • You understand our dashboard and its capabilities for both campaigns and attribution.
  • You've added multiple qualified opportunities from target accounts to the pipeline.
  • You've expanded Gamesight's presence in target accounts using your existing network.
  • You're developing your own strategies for winning enterprise-level deals against competitors and sharing these insights with team members.
