Job Summary:

Airveda is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Lead with a strong technical background to join our team. As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines, with an additional focus on procurement and stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and allocate resources for the production team, budgeting for and overseeing the entire spectrum of human resources management. This includes recruitment, retention strategies, comprehensive training programs, and proactive backup management to ensure operational continuity.
• Oversee end-to-end production processes, from planning to final product assembly ensuring that production meets delivery timelines, quality standards and necessary compliance.
• Implement quality control and process optimization improvement and assist the team in troubleshooting and proactively addressing any issues that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like operations, business development, procurement and logistics to implement changes that enhance production performance.
• Identify, plan and conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of production staff.
• Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Monitor and manage accurate inventory, predict inventory needs and coordinate with operations and procurement teams to ensure optimized stock levels and avoid shortages.
• Generate and present monthly production and stock reports to management to provide insights into productivity, efficiency, and inventory levels.
• Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in production management, procurement, and stock management, preferably in a technology or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
