The role

We are seeking a motivated and energetic artist to join our company as a Motion Graphics Designer. As part of our creative team, you create video content and assets for use across a wide variety of media, including social media, mobile platforms, and emerging media.

The kind of stuff you’ll be doing

Ability to work with raw footage - trim, assemble, edit
Following a script or outline, give creative input to improve flow and final deliverable
Review, select and add music and voice overs to enhance footage
Design simple graphics and animations such as lower thirds, transitions, and stingers
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult and collaborate with stakeholders from production to post-production and provide a final product that matches or exceeds their vision
Edit and resize videos for use on tradeshow monitors, online, for social, and on the big screen at events
Advise with staging/lighting for video shoots
Review creative work and consult/collaborate with outside agencies
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and best practices

The kind of requirements we expect

3+ years experience in video editing and motion graphics
Experience with professional editing software (Premiere, After Effects, etc)
Demonstrate video editing ability with strong portfolio
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Ability to take feedback and offer solutions to meet project goals
Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and work to deadlines
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Independently drive areas of the expertise with a sense of passion and ownership
Have a good understanding with Startup environment & challenges
A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your involvement and how you contributed to solving specific design problem.
