Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Lead to join our dynamic team in Noida. As an Automation Test Engineer at Cars24, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with expertise in either Playwright or Cypress frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright or Cypress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and provide input on testability.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Identify and report software defects, ensuring thorough documentation of test cases and results.
• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in either Playwright or Cypress automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or any relevant language.
• Experience with testing web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with testing in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
