Location: Remote (if we go back to an office space it will be Banglore)

Wellthy Therapeutics helps leading Biopharma companies upgrade to become Digital BioPharma Companies. We do this by powering core drug/device portfolios with software based medicine, deployed via digital therapeutics, companion SaMD solutions, and digital patient support programs, that pair with the drug/device to deliver or enhance treatments for unmet medical needs.

What will you be doing:

Your role involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities aimed at ensuring team productivity and project success.

Your key duties involve managing the engineering team and their expectations, fostering an environment conducive to collaboration and innovation.

Part of your role involves understanding and conveying business requirements, managing associated risks, and ensuring that project deadlines are met consistently.

Lastly, you will provide consistent feedback to the team on their work and time management, helping them grow professionally and maintain a positive and productive work environment at Wellthy.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Previous experience of at least 4+ years as an Engineering Manager or similar role in a tech company / role.
• At least 5+ years of software development experience with modern frontend technologies, must have experience in high level system design
• Strong technical expertise and comfortable managing engineering teams in frontend with varied experiences
• Familiarity and comfort with a fully remote working environment
• Provide constructive feedback to the team on their work and time management. This involves mentoring, coaching, and facilitating opportunities for professional development.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to ensure that the engineering team is aligned with the company’s product roadmap.
• Identify skill gaps in the team and fill them up as required
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that our engineering efforts are aligned with our marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to continually improve their skills and processes

Nice to have skills:

• Preferable to have experience working on internal tools, specially the part that are heavily related to end users
• Familiarity with the challenges our product solves - call them dashboards, admin panels, CRUD apps, workflow software, or internal tools
• Experience in contributing to open source software and/or a deep understanding of open source business models

• Technical knowhow around React, Vue, Next, Node

• Any SDK development experience will be added advantage.
